Technology

With seven laser cutters, and a team of 50 C.A.D. designers we will design and cut your made to measure curtains to fit perfectly, right down to the smallest detail. This combination of traditional skills and the very latest technology produces individually hand tailored curtains with a superb fit. Our ready made curtains are also made by the same experienced team.

Quality

Many of our fabrics come from leading British fabric houses such as Fryett’s, Ross and Villa Nova. Plumbs manufacture over 1,500 orders every week in our own factory, using the very latest computer cutting technology. We also rely heavily on traditional design and sewing skills developed over many years.

Our highly experienced production staff are truly committed to providing a first class service, and will always try to exceed your expectations. Quality checks are made at every stage, from fabric coming in, to the careful final inspection and packaging of your order. You will be delighted with your order when it arrives neatly packaged and with clear instructions for fitting.

Both made to measure and ready made curtains from Plumbs are supplied pattern matched both vertically and horizontally for a perfect finish. All our curtains have mitred corners and are weighted to ensure a perfect drape. All our curtains have 76mm (3") blind hems and are supplied with quality linings, which are lock stitched for durability. We only use tape from recognised U.K. suppliers e.g. Ruflette and sewing thread by Coat's, again a respected household name.

Plumbs made to measure curtains are made to the exact size requested to a tolerance of 64mm (1/4"). We guarantee you will be delighted.
